Wage:

£7.50 per hour (rising to £7.75 upon successful completion of probationary period)



Hours:

Full Time Monday to Friday 9-5

Job Share Considered 8-12/1 + 12/1-5

We are a leading and growing provider of SUPPORTED LIVING and DAY/COMMUNITY services for individuals with learning and mental health difficulties



Based in our Staple Hill offices we are looking for a dependable and flexible individual with excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills who can work on their own initiative in an often busy environment. You will join us to provide financial and general administrative support to service users and the Finance and Management teams within our Head Office



Main duties:

• Administrative tasks as required by the Senior Management Team.

• Assist with the management of the service user’s finances, including recording income and expenditure onto MS Excel and CashFlow management software and completing monthly cash flow projections.

• Assisting the Support Workers with queries relating to the opening and maintaining of new current accounts and/or savings accounts and ISA’s.

• Monitoring financial records to ensure the service user is in receipt of expected benefits.

• Liaise with the service user’s Appointee, Finance Manager and Team Leaders on expenditure and foreseeable problems with the service user’s cash flow.

• General administration including responding to calls, filing, scanning and dealing with managing visitors, Reception cover on a rota basis.



Candidate requirements:

• At least two GCSE’s in English and Maths

• Experience working within an office with finance administration would be useful but we will provide full training, a college leaver will be considered if you have a good aptitude for figures.

• Excellent planning and organisation skills

• Numerate with a good attention to detail

• Effective communicator

• Strong IT skills including , Microsoft Office applications (Outlook Email, Word and Excel)

• Self starter with strong ability to execute on assigned tasks

• Team worker
