Hours : 1 x 15 hrs (with the possibility of increasing to a 30 hr contract

and 1 x Pool Worker (with the possibility of increasing to a 15 hr contract)

Location : Leith

Salary : £15,404 per annum pro-rata

Sleepovers : Paid at £64.80 per sleepover

We are looking for two outgoing, energetic people with a can-do attitude to join an existing team. The team provide 24 hour support to a young, intelligent, outgoing woman who lives in her own home in Leith.

Shifts last for one full day with a sleepover, from 10am – 10pm, sleepover and then 7am – 10am. This involves staying overnight in the person’s home, where you would have your own room to rest and relax in. An additional rate would be paid for this and you may do this once or twice per week. The candidate would need to be flexible and adaptable to cover a range of shifts on different days.

The supported person enjoys socialising, cinema and football, and she is very active with her voluntary work. The job would involve support with personal care, shopping and housework as well as working as part of a Self-Managed Team to support the person reach their outcomes, attending meetings as required, and carrying out admin tasks and rota planning. Good communication skills are essential.
